BLACK AUGUST HIP HOP PROJECT ON AUGUST 31ST Q-TIP, BILAL & EPMD0 comments

We just wanted to let everyone in NYC know that the Black August Hip Hop project benefit is on August 31st. We attended the concert last year with Talib Kweli, Mos Def, Dead Prez and special guest Common. The event had great  hip-hop performances and a lively crowd who came together to hear some  amazing music for a cause.  Okayplayer is involved with the event so it’s possible that Talib, Mos Def or Common may make surprise guest appearances.
