Funny man Jay Leno was hospitalized and canceled his taping of the tonight show. The program was scheduled to premiere in a new 10 pm time slot. We hope Jay makes a full speedy recovery.
Jay Leno, the “Tonight” show host, was hospitalized on Thursday and a taping of the show planned for that afternoon was canceled, the Web site of the Los Angeles television station KTLA reported. An NBC spokeswoman told KTLA that Mr. Leno had checked himself into the hospital because he wasn’t feeling well, but would not elaborate on his condition. Mr. Leno will be stepping down from the “Tonight” show this summer and is scheduled to host a nightly prime-time variety series on NBC in the fall. [NYT]
