BRITAIN Michael Jackson

The Sun UK reported that Michael Jackson was seeking treatments for skin cancer. The King of Pop has denied the story as rumor despite the fact that he has been seen leaving at a dermatology clinic.

Jackson, now 50,  will have his skin shaved to try and remove potentially lethal cancerous growths.

Layers of skin on his chest and nose will be removed. And after tests, doctors will decide if he needs radiation gun therapy to treat affected areas, The Sun newspaper in the UK reports. Organisers of the singer’s 50-show London run, starting in July, denied a link between the two setbacks. But tens of thousands of fuming fans will have to wait eight months longer to see him.

Jackson went to a health clinic in Los Angeles on Wednesday and told onlookers “I’m fine” before going to rehearse for his upcoming tour, his first major shows in a decade and the first since his child sex trial.

Randy Phillips, head of concert promoters AEG Live, insisted: “The date change has nothing to do with his health. The truth is the show has grown in scope and complexity and size.” [DAILY TELEGRAPH]
