UPDATE : TMZ SPOKE TO BAM WHO SAID HE WAS HOSPITALIZED FOR DEHYDRATION AFTER A 4 DAY DRINKING BINGE.

TMZ reported that reality star and Jackass stunt skateboarder Bam Margera was rushed to the hospital after suffering a “possible overdose”. Bam’s mother April spoke to a radio station and claimed the hard partying Bam was exhausted and dehydrated. Who do you believe?  We believe Bam was definitely on some good stuff  in a lost episode of Viva La Bam when he considered riding in a barrel over a waterfall was a good idea.

Was Bam Margera taken to hospital for a possible drug overdose or was it just dehydration?

TMZ reported that Bam Margera was taken to the hospital for a possible drug overdose. According to the report, police and paramedics arrived at Margera’s Pennsylvania home at approximately 1:30 p.m. yesterday and took him to the hospital. The 911 call will probably be released very soon.

Bam’s mother, April Margera called in to the Preston and Steve radio show this morning in an attempt to clear up the overdose rumors. April said that Bam was just severely dehydrated and did not overdose. She said that he received some injuries while filming “Nitro Circus”  She said that she was not in town yesterday, but she heard Bam walked into the ambulance. She stated that Bam is still in the hospital recovering. [source]

Bam Margera overdosed at about 1:30 p.m. yesterday. There’s no information available about the kind of drugs he was taking, but “overdose” usually means heroin or possibly cocaine.

Some sources are saying that the Bam Margera overdose story isn’t even true. This morning, Bam’s mother, April Margera, called into a Philadelphia radio station morning show and said that Bam was hospitalized for “severe dehydration.” Right. [source]
