Chris Brown finally made a public apology youtube video about his assault on Rihanna. It took Chris Brown 5 months to tell Rihanna and the world he was sorry. Chris Brown negotiated a plea deal in court to escape jail for the Rihanna beating.

Chris Brown managed to negotiate a plea deal. The R&B singer will spend 180 days in a labor diversion program in Virginia, with 5 years of probation for his assault against ex-girlfriend Rihanna. Additionally, Brown is required to enroll in a domestic violence program.

In the vid CBreezy says he has sought spiritual help from his preacher and guidance from his mother but he really needs counseling for domestic violence.  Chris admitted that he is seeking help for his wife beating ways but we still wonder why it took him so long to apologize. In 5 months Chris has been caught on jet skis, partied and even made a youtube video against his lawyer’s advice proclaiming the he wasn’t a monster.

Is this video a little too late to save Chris Brown’s career?  We think the vid is a last ditch effort to help him but we still wonder what took so long. If someone is truly sorry for their actions then they will be sincere and say it from their heart without being forced to say the words. The violent cycle of domestic abuse involves a abuser who continually  apologizes for his actions.  Unfortunately this is a lesson that Chris Brown was inadvertently taught by his mother who was a victim of abuse.  Chris Brown is a talented artist and performer. We believe he deserves a second chance if he gave a sincere apology.
