Two months after being signed to Young Money Entertainment, Omarion has been dropped from the giant recording company. Spilling the beans about the matter is the label’s president Mack Maine on his Twitter which reveals that Omarion is fired because he has allegedly leaked his duet song with Lil Wayne.
“ATTN: Omarion is no longer Young Money … the song they leaked ft. Wayne is not official .. good luck 2 him in his future,” so Mack wrote. Shortly after that, one of Young Money’s artists Jae Millz re-tweeted Mack’s short message, apparently trying to emphasize that the news is not a rumor.
Omarion was previously signed to Epic Records before he joined Young Money Entertainment in June. He is currently working on his next studio album titled “A New Me”. Now that he is out of Young Money, it seems that the rapper has to seek a new home to drop the effort.
This is not a good look for O because he just got signed a minute ago. SMH.
When it comes to Omarion and Lil Wayne’s burgeoning record label Young Money, all deals and bets are off.
“There’s alot of people thinking i got dropped from Y.m that has never nor will ever b the kase I asked to b.. realeased,I didnt get dropped,” Omarion wrote on Twitter hours after news broke of him being booted from the label. [source]

Omarion’s Twitter response comes on the heels of a Twitter post from Young Money President Mack Maine.
Maine, citing a leaked song featuring Lil Wayne as being “unofficial,” wrote “ATTN: Omarion is no longer Young Money … the song they leaked ft. Wayne is not official … good luck 2 him in his future” early Thursday. His Twitter post, followed by Young Money artist Jae Millz, made rounds through several blogs and other entertainment related sites by Thursday afternoon, with most reporting that Omarion had been dropped,
At this time there is no word as to where Omarion will release his anticipated third studio album. The singer has however, confirmed that the album and a video for his lead single is still coming.
“ALBUM ‘OLLUSION’ still koming video still koming really soon luv yall thanx for holdin me down!,” Omarion confirmed on Twitter.
Omarion’s decision to part ways with Young Money follows an unexpected exit from Epic Records in 2008. [source]
