We must warn you that this video showing the former beauty Maia Campbell is shocking. There were rumors that Maia Campbell had hit skid row on the streets and was smoking crack rocks but this new clip proves that this girl is in desperate need of an intervention.

A previous video surfaced before showing the actress naked and high on crack. The explicit clip was pulled from youtube and websites for terms of violation. Maia has also been accused of shoplifting and stealing a car.

Maia Campbell used to date R&B singer Tyrese back in the day. She starred as Tyrese’s leading lady in his “Sweet Lady” and “Lately” music videos and was a King Magazine pinup girl. Maia also starred in Jaheim’s music video “Just in Case” as his leading lady. Now Maia has lost her beautiful hair, looks older than her thirty something years and has turned into a foul mouthed crack whore.

A videographer caught the actress  prostituting and turning tricks in a car.  The scene plays out like it was scripted in the movies. Maia Campbell is the daughter of late author Bebe Moore Campbell and she used to star with LL Cool J on the hit show “In The House.” She kind of reminds us of Halle Berry’s character in “Jungle Fever.”

I hope to God Bebe is in a better place. Imagine the feeling of watching your daughter do something like that…

Bebe Moore Campbell’s 72 Hour Hold is the story of a mother trying to cope with her daughter’s descent into mental illness. Though 72 Hour Hold is a novel, Bebe reportedly said it was based on real-life events that engulfed her own family.

So Bebe might have been referencing her own daughter, Maia Chinassa Campbell, who may in fact be bipolar. My heart sinks deep in my chest for Maia, whom I always remember in a cute scene from In The House where Debbie Allen took a maternal peek at the burgeoning Maia Campbell and asked, “Where’d you get that body?”

It was cute back then. A young girl blossoming into a woman and coming into her own. Seeing the sordid shape Maia Campbell is in now, I’m truly praying that she can be delivered from the demons surrounding her and inside of her, and pray that the people who possibly drugged and exposed Maia and uploaded it on the internet are prosecuted.
