Mariah Carey made a special guest appearance on a live Oprah show to promote her album. The diva wore retro 90’s curly hair while she sang in Central Park. Oprah surprised some lucky fans with the opportunity to meet Mariah Carey on the show.

Mariah and her husband Nick Cannon dished on their marriage. Mariah has also denied hooking up with Eminem during her publicity tour.

The best part was Nick Cannon describing his marriage proposal to Mariah, during the time the Empire State Building was lit up in Carey’s favorite “pink yet purple” color to celebrate her 18th number 1 hit song.
Nick seized the opportunity to take Mariah Carey up high somewhere to watch it — and he already had a bunch of “pink yet purple” candy ring pops because he called himself a “candy crackhead” on the Oprah show.
“Mine feels a little broken,” Mariah said about her wrapped up ring pop, to which Nick said, “Just open it.”
That’s when Mariah uncovered the huge diamond rock on her hand, which she said Nick Cannon designed in its “pink yet purple” color.
Beautiful.
“There’s quite a bit of an age difference,” Oprah noted, after talking with Mariah first about not even knowing Nick was her beau the last time she was on the Oprah show, even though Cannon was backstage with Mariah.
“Age ain’t nothing but a number,” Nick said, and Mariah began singing the same words. Cannon said he’d long been a fan of Mariah and feels like a “blessed man” that got what he’d been wanting. [source]
