Jojo sings new songs & acapella…

JoJo confirmed that a joint deal between her label Blackground Records and Interscope has been finalized. The singer wrote on her Twitter, “The deal is done! Blackground/Interscope :) Longtime comin’…”

JoJo has been waiting for Blackground Records to reach a distribution deal for her new album “All I Want Is Everything” since two years ago. “I don’t know what my other options are, I don’t wanna keep my fans waiting, I don’t wanna keep my family, my friends and myself waiting,” she complained earlier this year when there was no deal yet.

JoJo even filed a legal document against Da Family Entertainment, demanding to be released from her contract with the company and seeking at least $500,000 as a compensation for putting her into a musical “limbo”.

JoJo released her second album “The High Road” in 2006. Throughout her career since 2004 debut album “JoJo”, she has worked with the likes of Sean Garrett, Ryan Leslie, Chad Hugo of N.E.R.D and Timbaland. As for this third effort, she is working with Toby Gad, Darkchild and Bryan-Michael Cox among others. [source]
