We send our condolences to Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kandi Burruss. Kandi’s former fiance who was featured on the show was just tragically killed in a bar brawl. This is so sad and awful. Kandi spoke to Bossip in an interview before she broke up with her ex-boyfriend.
Kandi wrote a message on Twitter: She is devastated by her lover’s sudden death. The was a controversy on the show about her relationship with A.J. because he had 6 children with 4 different babies mamas. Kandi’s mother staged an intervention on one Housewives episode where she cautioned Kandi about marrying a man with too much baggage.

The ex-fiance of Kandi Burruss — who stars on “Real Housewives of Atlanta” — died Friday night after a brawl erupted at a club in Atlanta.
Polilce say Ashley “A.J.” Jewell suffered severe head injuries during a fight at the night club Body Tap, was rushed to Piedmont Hospital, and later died, according to myfoxatlanta.com.
As of Saturday morning police had no suspects in custody, but there is a person of interest.
Another report says the fight erupted in a parking lot and that Kandi is “stunned and speechless” at the news of his death.
Kandi is a new ‘Housewife’ in the season 2 of the show, now airing on Bravo. On the show, filmed months ago, she and A.J. are happily engaged and seen planning a wedding, despite her mother’s objections to A.J. having children by multiple women.
Kandi, a single mother of one, has never been married. She is a Grammy-winner now working on launching a solo career. [source]
