tiger woods and elinTiger Woods’ camp has finally issued an apology from the golf pro superstar regarding his alleged affairs.  The public scrutiny into the state of his marriage began after rumors circulated about the cause of his Thanksgiving Day weekend car crash.  The official statement is that Tiger crashed his car and was rescued by his wife who smashed in the windows of his SUV to save his life.  The general public didn’t believe this story because it didn’t add up.

Our favorite reenactment of  the Tiger Woods car crash is this funny animation from a Chinese TV station. Most of the audio is in Chinese but the actions don’t need to be translated because everyone can understand that Tiger’s wife Elin got mad about the affair and went on the attack.

The Florida police claim that this was not a domestic violence dispute despite the speculation about what really happened on that night. The released 911 call features audio from a concerned neighbor who called for help while Tiger was unconscious on the ground.  Rachel Uchitel told the NY Post that she was not having an affair with Tiger Woods and can prove it with a lie detector test. According to TMZ Tiger Woods’ wife, Elin, confronted his mistress Jamie Grubbs with an angry telephone message.

As we first reported, Grubbs bragged to co-workers at the Stone Rose Lounge in West Hollywood, claiming she was having an affair with Tiger and even playing them the voicemail Tiger left for Jaimee on November 24 — when he asked her to remove her name from the outgoing message on her voicemail because Elin was becoming suspicious.Co-workers tell TMZ on Friday — the day of Tiger’s crash — Jaimee went to work, played the voicemail to co-workers and then later in the evening said she had received a call from a blocked number. Jaimee says she answered and asked who was on the line. Jaimee says the caller — a woman — did not identify herself but said, “You know who this is because you’re f**king my husband.” [TMZ]

Now there are various women who are coming forward and confirming that they had affairs with Tiger Woods.  The rumor mill story that makes the most sense is the scenario that Tiger’s wife Elin found out about his affairs and went on a rampage with a golf club which resulted in Tiger getting KO’d on the ground and  busted car windows. This is like that Jasmine Sullivan song  which has been renamed “Bust Your Windows the Ballad of Tiger & Elin”. US Weekly released audio of Tiger’s panic attack phone call to Jamie Grubbs that his wife found out that were hooking  up and may be calling her so he pleaded with Jamie to change her voicemail greeting.

“Hey, it’s Tiger,” he says in the voicemail, obtained by Usmagazine.com “I need you to do me a huge favor. Can you please take your name off your phone? My wife went through my phone and may be calling you. So if you can, please take your name off that. Just have it as a number on the voicemail. You got to do this for me. Huge. Quickly. Bye.” [US WEEKLY]

The official apology statement from Tiger Woods sounds like a perfectly scripted pr press release to stop the blogosphere chatter about Tiger’s infidelities.  The public won’t feel like they have closure until Tiger speaks openly about what happened and addresses the issue. Stay tuned for the affair press conference like Kobe Bryant’s because this is not going to go away.  Tiger took too long to say anything and alot of questions have still not been answered. That is why everyone is happy to watch reenactements in Chinese.  Read the full apology with Tiger comments on current events.

Tiger Woods offered a “profound apology” to his family and his fans Wednesday and admitted he had “not been true to my values” as the world’s best golfer was linked to a third reported mistress.

“I have let my family down and I regret those transgressions with all of my heart,” Woods wrote on his Web site.

“I have not been true to my values and the behavior my family deserves.”

Woods did not name any names, and the duffer whose name is synonymous with excellence on the grass said he was “far short of perfect” off the links.

“I am dealing with my behavior and personal failings behind closed doors with my family,” he wrote in a plea for privacy.

“Those feelings should be shared by us alone.”

Woods said some of the things that have been written about him were “utterly false and malicious,” specifically reports of domestic violence between him and his wife Elin Nordegren.

He also promised to “strive to be a better person and the husband and father that my family deserves.”

“For all of those who have supported me over the years, I offer my profound apology,” he wrote. Woods’ mea culpa came after his name was linked to Kalika Moquin in the pages of Life & Style magazine.

But the Las Vegas-based Moquin did not exactly kiss and tell.

“It’s not appropriate for me to comment one way or the other,” Moquin told the magazine. “At this time, I’m just choosing to focus on my job.”

A brunette marketing manager for The Bank nightclub in Las Vegas, Moquin hooked up with Woods more than once at his Las Vegas hotel during the weekend of Oct. 23, the magazine reported.

They cited “an insider” as its source.

“They’ve hooked up a bunch of times,” the source said. “Tiger told Kalika that married life isn’t all it’s built up to be.

He said he wasn’t happy in his marriage or his home life and that there was just so much pressure on him.”

Club promoter Rachel Uchitel, 34, and Los Angeles cocktail waitress Jaimee Grubbs, 23, have also been named in reports as women with whom Woods, who has groomed a squeaky clean reputation, has cheated on his wife of five years, Elin Nordegren.

Woods’ representatives would not comment, the magazine reported.

The allegations of tryst with Moquin, come as Grubbs claimed to have a long and tawdry affair with the golf great and said she had photos and hundreds of “racy” text messages to prove it.

“Send me something very naughty,” Woods reportedly wrote in a text message that Grubbs turned over to Us Weekly.

“Go to the bathroom and take [a picture].”

“I will wear you out,” Woods reportedly wrote to Grubbs in another. Grubbs said the affair began in April 2007, and insists their relationship was more than just sex. [NYDN]
