Hotel heiress, Paris Hilton, was arrested in Las Vegas for cocaine possession. This is the second time this summer that the heiress, reality star model & actress has been arrested for drug possession.

The police pulled Hilton over in her car after they followed the trail of funny looking smoke coming from her vehicle. Paris got caught with the coke after it fell from her purse while she was trying to get glam while applying lip gloss for her mugshot. Isn’t this a hot mess? Check out Miss H’s glam mughshot. SMH.

Vapor Trail’ Leads to Paris Hilton’s Arrest

Las Vegas police are defending their arrest Friday of Paris Hilton for alleged possession of cocaine.

Hilton was treated “like everyone else,” Deputy Chief Jim Dixon told the Las Vegas Review Journal, adding that the one difference was that the actress was not placed with other inmates at the county jail. “If you stick somebody in like her or somebody else who’s famous, all of a sudden it’s disruptive. We’re under obligation to make sure that everybody is kept safe.”

Las Vegas police said they had enough evidence to arrest Hilton, but it will be up to prosecutors to file charges. Attorneys for Hilton and her boyfriend have suggested that not all the facts in the case have been made public.

Hilton and boyfriend Cy Waits, in a Cadillac Escalade, were pulled over by Las Vegas police, who said they smelled marijuana. Officers said they found a small amount of cocaine inside Hilton’s purse.

Hilton flew back to her home in Los Angeles and has not made a comment. Her attorney, David Chesnoff, released a statement urging people not to make a “rush to judgment.”

“This matter will be dealt with in the courts, not in the media, and I encourage people not to rush to judgment until all of the facts have been dealt with in a court of law,” he said in the statement.

Waits’ attorney suggested to the Associated Press that there was evidence that would prove the pair were  innocent.

“As the case proceeds, a lot of facts are going to come to light that will ultimately lead to exoneration,” Richard Schonfeld said.

On Twitter, Hilton said: I’m so thankful to all my fans for all the love and support you are giving me. Thank you all. Love you so much. Love Paris.”

The Red carpet at the Emmy Awards always has the world buzzing at the latest fashion trends. There were some big hits and definite misses at the 2010 ceremony.  Here are some of the looks we loved.  1. Glee star, Lea Michele, looked lovely in a form fitting Oscar De La Renta gown.

A couple of the looks we didn’t like were worn by two glamorous stars.

1. Mad Men’s, January Jones, is so beautiful and always looks so glam. We don’t know what went wrong with her undone hair, non existent makeup and over powering Versace gown.

Anna Paquin definitely has a great figure to show off. But this Alexander McQueen dress from the Spring collection makes Anna look like a matador in a bull ring.

We love the late designers clothes but this dress is far from right for this event.  It’s a bit too much costume for an A list event. Sorry Anna.  Here is a fashion recap of the big night.

According to reports the Forbes Cash King and his bootylicious wife spent $600,000 dollars to rent a yacht. How many people could that money have helped in Jay-Z’s hood in the Marcy projects?  That is an incredible chunk of change.  Beyonce was caught catching some sun in a bikini while relaxing on the yacht. Actress Lindsay Lohan may be leaving a court ordered stint in rehab. Lilo’s mom, Dina Lohan, mentioned during an interview with Today show host Matt Lauer that his daughter may be released early. Lindsay has already spent two weeks in rehab. This is the fourth time the Mean Girls actress has be forced to have an extended stay in a  facility to treat her substance abuse problems.

Lindsay Lohan’s court-ordered 90-day stint in a rehabilitation facility may be coming to an end sooner than anyone expected.

In an interview with RadarOnline.com, Danette Meyers, the prosecutor in Lohan’s case, said that the staff at the UCLA Medical Center where the actress is being treated are considering recommending that she be released early from the facility.

“My understanding from conversations with Shawn Chapman Holley is that Miss Lohan could be released early,” Meyers said. “It is looking as if that is what the health-care professionals are going to recommend. … How much earlier she could me released, I’m unsure of at this point.”

The Associated Press reported that Lohan could be released as early as Friday (August 13), citing a spokesperson at the Los Angeles District Attorney’s office who said that the actress’ program might be “modified,” meaning that she could switch from an in-patient program to an out-patient program.

Lohan checked into the rehab center on August 2, after serving 13 days of a three-month sentence in Los Angeles county jail. She was originally set to begin her program at the Morningside Recovery center in Newport Beach, California, but the judge in her case, Marsha Revel, ordered a last-minute switch to the UCLA facility for what were described as security reasons. (Earlier this week Revel removed herself from the case.)

And though Revel ordered Lohan to complete a 90-day stint at the treatment center, Meyers said that the District Attorney’s office will follow the recommendation of the UCLA staff.

“I will follow what the health care professionals advise,” Meyers told Radar. “That could involve follow-up treatment for Miss Lohan, however, it is my understanding that it is looking like the health care professionals will be recommending that she be released earlier than the 90 days Judge Revel previously ordered.”

Laurence Fishburne’s 18-year-old daughter is being investigated for allegedly roughing up her boyfriend’s ex, according to E! News.

Montana Fishburne was arrested in February and accused of breaking into the home of the victim, forcing her into a bathroom and beating her repeatedly. She pleaded not guilty to simple battery and false imprisonment. But prosecutors told E! they’re working on additonal charges as well, including assault with a deadly weapon and trespassing.

Montana Fishburne’s lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, didn’t immediately return ABCNews.com’s requests for comment.

The daughter of the Oscar-nominated Fishburne hasn’t had an easy go of late. Some stars are never completely comfortable shooting sex scenes. The thought of their parents watching them romp onscreen makes some actresses — and actors — downright squeamish.

Amanda Seyfried, Sienna Miller and Eva Mendes have all tried to shield their parents, especially dads, from watching their more intimate scenes. Even some actors, such as “Harry Potter” star Rupert Grint, have called the experience nerve-racking.

The world was prepared for the nuptials of former first daughter Chelsea Clinton. However in the world of hip hop two high profile hip hop stars got married over the weekend.

Alicia Keys officially wed her fiance Swizz Beatz in a ceremony conducted by life gurua Deepak Chopra.

It is the first wedding for Keys who is expecting her first child with mega mogul Swizz Beatz. Congrats to the couple.

Alicia Keys and soon-to-be father of her child Swizz Beatz were married this past Saturday at a private estate near the Mediterranean Sea. The couple’s friend Dr. Deepak Chopra presided over the nuptials.

Beatz wrote on his Twitter:

The couple announced Keys’ pregnancy this past May, which will be the first for Keys and third for Beatz, who has two children from prior relationships.

Lindsay Lohan is now serving her 90 day jail term in a California prison. According to inmates Lilo is affectionately referred to as a ‘fish”.  The Mean Girls actress was sentenced to enter a 90 day stint in rehab after she finishes her Twitterless prison time.  Lindsay is not allowed to use Twitter, smoke or wear hair extensions during her prison stay.

Lindsay Lohan is now a “fish.”

That’s what new inmates at the women’s jail are called, and to underscore their lowly status, each is given what’s called a “fish kit,” which is a sandwich bag containing a small tube of toothpaste, a white toothbrush, three packets of cream deodorant, three packets of shampoo and a small bar of soap.

“Nothing is name brand. They’re all generic and cheap quality,” says Michelle, a former inmate who declined to give her last name, about the intake process at the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, Calif.

As Lohan, 24, begins her 90-day sentence for violating probation in a DUI case, a strange and surreal world awaits, far from the perks and freedoms she enjoys during her jet-setting lifestyle – save one. She’ll have a show-business neighbor.
According to a jail insider, Lohan will be housed in a 12-by-8 cell next to E! reality TV star Alexis Neiers, 19, who’s currently at Lynwood on a six-month sentence for her part in burglarizing Orlando Bloom’s house.

But Neiers got the more famous digs: She’s in the cell once occupied by Paris Hilton.
