50 Cent aka Curtis Jackson has reached a deal in his child custody battle with ex-girlfriend Shaniqua Tompkins. The next round in court involves 50 Cent addressing accusations made by his baby mama that he was responsible for the fire which almost killed her and their son.

There’ll be no more kidding around for 50 Cent. At least, not in court.

The rapper and his former girlfriend, Shaniqua Tompkins, have
reached a settlement in their ongoing and bitter custody dispute over
11-year-old son Marquise, announcing this morning they have managed to
broker a visitation schedule outside of court, thus avoiding the burden
of a high-profile trial.

"I’m happy it’s actually done with," Fiddy told reporters outside
the Suffolk Family Court of the deal, despite the fact that it grants
him less visitation time with the boy than he originally sought.

During
this morning’s five-minute hearing, in which both the rapper and
Thompson were present, but avoided eye or any other contact, lawyers
disclosed that 50 Cent will see his son one weekend per month, one
month in the summer and spend half his winter and spring breaks in his
father’s custody.

"I thank you guys for your cooperation," Suffolk Family Court Judge
David Freundlich told the feuding duo in court. "It makes life very,
very good for your child."

For her part, Thompson, who ignited the custody battle earlier this
summer after accusing the rapper, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, of
somehow masterminding the fire that destroyed the Long Island home she
and her son were occupying, said the deal was a good step for the
family.

"Despite my feelings for Mr. Jackson, that’s Marquise’s dad," she
said. "I want him to have a positive relationship with his dad."

Meanwhile, Thompson and Jackson haven’t necessarily seen the last of each other in court.

The Suffolk County Arson Squad is still investigating the destruction
of the $2.4 million home. They have already questioned Fiddy, who owned
the home and was attempting to evict his baby mama and son, over the
blaze. source

Dang! 50 Cent doesn’t play when it comes to making sure his ex baby mama Shaniqua Tompkins doesn’t make a dime off her life story.  This does not sound right Fiddy is generously giving away cars to broke actors like Val Kilmer and blocking Shaniqua from making anything from what she’s living through including the suspicious house fire. For months the world has been privy to the ongoing
between 50 Cent and his ex Shaniqua Tompkins. The two are in an
extended legal battle, and their presence in the press has included
stories of public shouting matches, love triangle fist fights, and a mysterious house fire.
It’s a tale ripe for a book deal. Shrewd business man 50 Cent, however,
has managed to make sure his lover-turned-rival won’t make a dime from
it.

The music mogul managed to buy the rights to Tompkins’ life story so she can never write a tell-all book about her with 50 – real name Curtis Jackson. The woman has an 11-year-old son,
Marquise, with Jackson and is currently in court with the rapper in
custody and

"I bought the rights to her life story so she couldn’t write a
book," said 50. "I seen her being ridiculous; I knew her capabilities
of going in that direction, so I bought the rights," he added.

The G-Unit boss has said that the legal troubles with his ex have
stemmed from Tompkins receiving bad advice from her friends. This poor
counsel included demands for more child support after 50 moved the
woman and his son to a $1.5 million home in Long Island, NY so that the
youngster could benefit from a quality school district. The resistance to the demands ended in 50 winning a court order to evict Tompkins from the

home.

"Her lawyer decided to present to the public that 50 Cent is kicking
his son out of the house." The house was destroyed earlier this year in
a fire that authorities called "suspicious."

50 Cent’s baby mama drama was back on with a new day in court after his house mysteriously burned down. The judge allowed 50 to have unrestricted visitation with his 11 year old son Marquise. Shaniqua Tompkins  said she wasn’t happy about the Judge’s decision and wouldn’t discuss the suspicious fire that she initially said she believed 50 Cent was involved. A Long Island judge granted him an unrestricted visit from August 3-12
with Marquise, his son with Shaniqua Tompkins. We’re told that both
parties had to submit to drug tests at the courthouse before the judge
would talk visits, and 50 was clean. Shaniqua tested positive … for
cough meds.

Our spies tell us that Shaniqua claimed in court
that 50 is keeping her from using her Land Rover SUV by keeping guards
at the site of the house that was engulfed by flames last month. He

Rapper 50 Cent spoke to Angie Martinez on Hot 97 to clear up all the rumors. 50 Cent spoke about leaking the Young Buck crying leaked phone conversation, his rumored secret marriage to Ciara, the Taco Bell name change scam and rapper Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter III selling over a million copies in the first week. Fiddy didn’t talk about his baby mama lawsuit with Shaniqua Tompkins or how he felt about being ordered by the judge to turn over his handguns.  50 Cent also didn’t mention The Game G-Unit diss song in response to The Taped Conversation called the Tape Convo. The fast food chain has challenged the rapper to change his name from 50–to 79, 89, or 99 Cent in connection with its new "Why Pay More" value menu for one day this summer.

Also part of the deal– "Fiddy" (a.k.a. Curtis Jackson) must stop by any Taco Bell restaurant of his choosing and rap his order at the drive-thru using his new moniker.

If he completes his mission, Taco Bell has vowed to donate $10,000 to a charity of the rapper’s choice. In addition, it will feed all of the guests at the Taco Bell location that 50 Cent ends up choosing.

In a letter to 50 Cent obtained on Wednesday by OK!, Taco Bell President and CEO Greg Creed writes, "We know that you adopted the name 50 Cent years ago as a metaphor for change. We at Taco Bell are also huge advocates for change… We encourage you to ‘Think Outside the Bun’ and hope you accept our offer." source

50 Cent is not happy that his baby mama Shaniqua Tompkins is accusing him of setting the house fire that almost killed her and their 11 year old son Marquise. The rapper served his ex-girlfriend with court papers for a $20 million dollar lawsuit to make Shaniqua stop talking about the suspicious fire that destroyed the house they were fighting over. Shaniqua has received an order of protection and the judge ordered Fiddy to turn over his guns. Watch an interview with Shaniqua where she accuses the rapper of threatening to kill her.   

Rapper 50 Cent served his former girlfriend, Shaniqua Tompkins, with a $20 million defamation lawsuit on Friday outside a Suffolk County, N.Y., court, for allegedly making offensive and false statements about the hip-hop star.

Following a fire on May 30 which burned down a Long Island home owned by 50 Cent (real name: Curtis Jackson) – in which Tompkins was living with their 11-year-old son, Marquise – Tompkins made defamatory statements, according to Jackson’s court documents, accusing him of "trying to kill" her and their son by setting the fire.

"It’s simply not true," Jackson’s attorney, Brett Kimmel, told PEOPLE. 50 Cent was in Louisiana filming the movie Microwave Park with Sharon Stone at the time of the blaze.

Despite the defamation suit, Tompkins – who on Friday was granted a temporary order of protection against Jackson by the judge which prohibits Jackson from contacting her and Marquise – repeated the sentiments for which she’s being sued to PEOPLE outside the Long Island courtroom.   "He always threatened me," said Tompkins, who filed suit against 50 Cent earlier this year, alleging he promised her the house – valued at $2.4 million – over a decade ago. "If someone threatens you on Monday and you jump out of a second floor window on Friday, that’s the facts, you decide."

A judge has ordered 50 Cent to surrender any guns he owns as part of a temporary restraining order issued against him  by his ex-girlfriend. On Friday the rapper’s ’s lawyer said that he plans to contest the order and insists 50 (a.k.a. Curtis Jackson) does not have access to guns, and never did. "To my knowledge, he has no guns," attorney Brett Kimmel said on Friday.

The judge’s order forbids 50 Cent from being in contact with Shaniqua Tompkins, the mother of his 10-year old son, without the court’s permission.

"Fiddy" and Tomkins have been locked in a legal fight over money–Tomkins wants half of the rapper’s estate, claiming the two made an oral agreement. source source
