American Idol runner up, Adam Lambert, shocked the nation with his raunchy S&M  simulated sex stage performance at the AMA’s.  Lambert caused the internet to buzz after his Idol win after rumors circulated about his sexuality.  The singer eventually confirmed that he was gay with a Rolling Stone Magazine cover story.  Viral videos  of Adam Lambert’s racy stage performances from before he was famous show that the singer always pushed the envelope . Lambert told RS that if any part of his AMA performance was edited before it was re-aired on the West coast then he would have to consider it  to be discrimination.  Adam Lambert was able to gain fans from American Idol from his tongue in cheek Freddy Mercury inspired performances but his live AMA singing voice is pretty awful. He completely missed the fact that his performance was terrible and no one should have been forced to watch it.  The discrimination accusation was a bit too much. Obviously Adam Lambert is trying to launch an unsuccessful Madonna & Britney Spears type of shock and awe campaign. Here are some Twitter responses to the  Adam Lambert AMA disaster.

Adam Lambert -  For Your Entertainment AMA performance

For his first televised performance since the Season Eight finale of American Idol, Adam Lambert aimed for the kind of controversy Britney Spears and Madonna are known for generating, completely stunning the audience at Los Angeles’ Nokia Theatre and the millions watching the American Music Awards live on ABC with a risqué rendition of “For Your Entertainment.” Rolling Stone didn’t label Lambert the Wild Idol for nothing, and Glambert definitely delivered on his promise of a “sexy” performance as he closed the live show with simulated oral sex from a male backup dancer, a brief make-out session with his male keyboardist and a giant mirrored prop so the audience could see the looks on their own shocked faces. Rolling Stone has learned that producers weren’t informed about the guy-on-guy kiss in advance, and after the show, Lambert told RS the musician he kissed is a straight man.

In approximately 30 minutes the West Coast will get a look at the American Music Awards performance that has everyone talking: Adam Lambert’s racy rendition of For Your Entertainment’s title track. When Lambert finished his song — complete with simulated oral sex with a male backup dancer and a passionate kiss with a male keyboardist — earlier tonight, fans hit the Internet to debate whether the American Idol runner-up’s first major televised performance since the Idol finale pushed the envelope too far. Lambert tells Rolling Stone he didn’t do anything female performers haven’t done on television already — and that if ABC cuts any part of his performance for the rebroadcast it will amount to “discrimination.”

“It’s a shame because I think that there’s a double standard going on in the entertainment community right now,” Lambert tells RS backstage after the show at Los Angeles’ Nokia Theatre. “Female performers have been doing this for years — pushing the envelope about sexuality — and the minute a man does it, everybody freaks out. We’re in 2009; it’s time to take risks, be a little more brave, time to open people’s eyes and if it offends them, then maybe I’m not for them. My goal was not to piss people off, it was to promote freedom of expression and artistic freedom.”

If ABC opts not to broadcast several of the more risqué moments of “For Your Entertainment” in a few moments, “In a roundabout way it’s a form of discrimination because it is a double standard,” Lambert says. “They didn’t censor Britney and Madonna macking onstage did they? But yet two men kissing they’ll censor?” The famous 2003 Video Music Awards moment Lambert is referring to went down on cable television — on MTV, of course — rather than network television.

Reports about the West Coast broadcast of the American Music Awards indicate that ABC kept the kiss with Lambert’s keyboardist, but cut away from the simulated oral sex with his male backup dancer.

The new season of Gossip Girl teased audiences with the promise of a threesome that sent parents groups into an uproar.  The much hyped 3 way episode aired on November 9th and revealed the players in the menage a trois were Penn Badgley (Dan Humphrey) Hilary Duff (Olivia Burke) and Jessica Szhor (Vanessa Abrahms).

Here are the GG details:

After attending a college party at NYU, all three of them are sitting on the floor, reading the school newspaper. They read over a list of things for the Ultimate College Experience and “having a threesome” is the last on the list that they haven’t tried.

Olivia and Dan start kissing and then look over to Vanessa. Olivia then leans over to Vanessa and kisses her. Dan smiles on and then leans in to kiss Vanessa. Kinky!

Penn Badgley was excited to reveal to Binside TV  that the threesome was a major storyline spoiler for the season.  Now we know why he was so happy to spill the beans.  Gossip Girl has taken pride in producing edgy storylines that anger parents. The ad campaigns have even used  unfavorable media reviews and soundbites to promote the show.  Unfortunately, the controversies have only translated into low ratings for the show which has been dubbed “Teen Sex in the City” as the viewership declines. GoSSiP GiRL 3X09 “DaN-oLiVia-VaNeSSa HaViNg 3SoMe”

Tantalizing promos that tease a possible sexual threesome during the Nov. 9 episode of Gossip Girl may have ticked off the Parents Television Council but it seems unlikely the CW will give the advocacy group anything to complain about to the FCC. Though the CW wouldn’t comment on next week’s episode, those familiar with the network’s standards and practices procedures say the infamous Without a Trace teen orgy scene on CBS had a big impact on how the CW depicts sexual intercourse between teen characters, especially on Gossip Girl.

In 2006, the FCC fined 111 CBS affiliates a record $3.6 million for airing what it viewed was an indecent depiction of teenage sex in December 2004. The scene, which CBS said appeared in the final half-hour of primetime and offered a socially relevant storyline for parents, involved teenage boys and girls engaged in a bacchanal. Since then, the CW has attempted to refrain from showing any sexual act between two characters if they are not over the age 18. In simpler terms: there’s always lots of talk but zero visuals. So even if most of the lead characters on Gossip Girl are out of high school, it’s likely the show will play it safe. “They’ll infer stuff but not get real explicit,” according to an industry observer with key knowledge of the CW’s standards. “I’d be surprised if there’s anything real explicit in the Gossip Girl episode.”

As for advertisers, there’s always the chance that action taken by the Parents Television Council could prevent some companies from airing commercials during shows like Gossip Girl. But the broadcast networks — unlike most, if not all, of the cable nets — allow their clients to screen any episode that may be deemed inappropriate before they buy the commercial time.

Penn Badgley Talks Threesomes

You can tell it was a good episode of Gossip Girl because the much-hyped threesome wasn’t even the best part. In fact, it kinda yielded mixed emotions…at least from me. Hilary Duff attempting to be sexy just felt, uh, weird. I had a similar reaction to seeing Julie Andrews naked in the movie S.O.B. It’s just not something you want to see, kinda like grown women wearing Loony Tunes paraphernalia. But, honestly, the whole thing was pretty chaste. Aside from a shot of them all in bed together in the end, it was basically no more risqué than a game of spin the bottle.

I still really think a guy-on-guy-on-guy love story would have been hotter but that could be my own personal bias. Chuck needed to somehow be involved in this situation. He’s the sexually adventurous one. Dan’s and Vanessa’s idea of experimenting is picking out exotic teas at the coffee shop.

I like where this is all going though with Vanessa and Olivia getting into it next week. Vanessa has CLEARLY never gotten over Dan and I’m sure there was a part of her (I’ll let you guess which part) that was completely thrilled at the chance of sleeping with Dan. Take her down, Olivia!

The storyline I enjoyed more than all the ménage a trois action was Jenny’s. One of my big problems with this season so far was that there wasn’t really a villain or anyone to unite the cast against. Well, folks, that sure has changed. Jenny’s evolution into a true Upper East Side beast is totally fantastic. I don’t buy that she could become this popular with those clothes or that hair but whatever (Also did we always know that her middle name was Tallulah? Where in the hell did that come from?). Her cotillion dress was a little underwhelming too and what was with the gloves? Still, I love Jenny and Eric going at it. This is developing into a really fun rivalry. It’s like a younger (and gayer) Serena and Blair, complete with a blonde versus a brunette.

We were introduced last night to a new character, Kira Abernathy who appears to be Eric’s new partner in crime. I think Kira could be my new fave character, a substitute for the loss I feel for Nelly Yuki. I loooooved (and laughed out loud) when Eric promised Kira that next time they would take Jenny down “for good.” I only wish he had a mustache to twirl although I’m not sure he’s old enough to grow facial hair.

• Britney Spears has been hit by a lipsynching scandal.  On Friday, about 100 angry fans reportedly stormed out of Britney’s concert at the Burswood Dome in the Western Australia city of Perth, saying they were disappointed by the lackluster performance and Spears’s lip-synching during her two-hour show. Why are the fans surprised because Brit Brit never sings? 
• Kim Kardashian and her brother Rob Kardashian got punched out at a charity boxing event. Kim showed off her black eye  via a post on her blog. Get better Kim.
• Taylor Swift sang her monologue on SNL. Although Taylor vowed not to talk about her ex-Joe Jonas she still managed to call him a “cheating douchebag” and alerted security guards to prevent Kanye West from coming on the stage like his infamous VMA outburst. Taylor also flirted with the rumor that she is dating Twilight hottie Taylor Lautner.
• Baseball star Sammy Sosa claims he is not trying to be Michael Jackson. WTF? Is there any other way to explain how Sammy went from having a dark complexion to looking light skinned?
• Jay-Z admits that he and his wife Beyonce are focused on making babies.
• Lindsay Lohan’s father Michael Lohan sold tapes of their private conversations for a whole lotta money.

RIHANNA GLAMOUR MAGAZINE CHRIS BROWN INTERVIEW

Rihanna is continuing her media blitz to promote her album and is opening up about the Chris Brown altercation which left her bloodied and bruised. Rihanna opens up about how she felt when the photo leaked to the press and admits she felt like Britney Spears after the ordeal with Chris Brown went public. Rihanna will talk more later this week about the Chris Brown mess on Good Morning America and Nightline.

On the ordeal with ex-boyfriend Chris Brown: “I went to sleep as Rihanna and woke up as Britney Spears. That was the level of media chaos that happened the next day.”

On her message to young women: “My story was broadcast all over the world for people to see, and they have followed every step of my recovery. The positive thing that has come out of my situation is that people can learn from that. I want to give as much insight as I can to young women, because I feel like I represent a voice that really isn’t heard. Now I can help speak for those women.”

On her new album: “I’ve put everything I’ve wanted to say for the past eight months into my music. is super fearless — which is exactly how I feel right now. I am in a really good place.”

On relationships: “I want to find love in the next 10 years — that will be pretty annoying if I am 31 and still have never been in love!”

On how she made it back: “My friends and family have been extremely supportive, and everyone has been there for me. But at some point you are there alone. It’s a lonely place to be — no one can understand. That’s when you get close to God.”

The director of the video for Britney Spears’ single “3″ tells Life & Style exclusively how the steamy sequence came together.

“I think it’s her next sexy video,” says director Diane Martel. “It’s a very simple video for her — I don’t think you’ve seen her this much under a magnifying glass. Everything’s really strong and playful.”

Britney helped with the look of the video, too. “We collaborated on the wardrobe and had meetings about hair and makeup people,” reveals Martel. “We talked a lot on the phone and met Tone and Rich — two of the best choreographers.”

Martel says Britney was great to work with. “She’s so sweet and funny and so normal and down to earth. It’s really fun as a director to see her in front of the camera. She’s so creative with this stuff. The video is very simple, it’s very, very minimal. So it’s her, her, her. And she’s totally engaging every second. She really knows how to work with a camera and move.

“I was really impressed, and I have worked almost with every female artist in the business,” Martel adds.

Britney herself is excited about the results, posting on Twitter, “It’s gonna be hot!”
