Rapper Jay-Z stopped by Hot 97 to chat with Angie Martinez about the controversial rumors he is a member of the Illuminati. The internet has been filled with theories that the “On to the Next One” video included satanic imagery.
Jay-z Answers Questions About illuminati,Religion, God
According to their report, the occult imagery contained in the clip includes Jay-Z making himself look holy by shining some flashing lights behind his head. Here’s Vigilant Citizen to explain further: “The one who refers to himself as “HOV” or “Jay-Hova” (a reference to Jehovah, the proper name of God in Abrahamic religions) might be sending the message that he is a god in a LeVeyan satanism kind of way rather than the “black gods” of the Five-Percenters.”
Jay-Z claims the rumors are ridiculous and that he believes in God. A DVD documentary was released which explains the symbolism of Jay-Z’s music amd videos and attempts to prove it took 8 years for Jay-Z to transform himself into a “Master Mason”.
Jay-Z: Hip-Hops Master Mason (Guy Releases DVD About Rumors Of Hov Being Apart Of The Illuminati)
The new avant-garde video for “On to the Next One” — with images of ram skulls, black crows and a Joker-like clown — has some bloggers talking that Jay is dabbling in demonic imagery and Freemason symbolism. Hov thinks that’s ridiculous.
“I got a lot of money,” Hov told Power 105.1 radio host Ed Lover on Wednesday (January 13). “When people get a lot of money, they start getting those rumors like Tom Cruise, Willie Smith. That’s ridiculous.”
Hov is also the subject of a new independent street DVD that alleges he is “Hip-Hop’s Master Mason” and the Blueprint pays homage to a secret society.
“That’s crazy to me,” Jay scoffed. “I gotta remind people I’m from Marcy Projects. I can’t get into a golf club in Palm Springs.”
Swizz Beatz also denied rumors that the “On to the Next One” clip promotes devil worship.
“I don’t think about that. I know that’s a billion percent not true. The video displays another level of art and creativity from two great minds: the director and Jay — and myself, bringing the collaboration together. It’s no satanic ways around me and that’s for sure,” he explained. “I’m with Jay — I never see none of that stuff around him unless he’s hiding something, which I doubt. C’mon, man. That’s silly stuff. That stuff you don’t even comment on; we on to the next one.”
“I’m aware of the stir the video has caused and what people are saying,” the clip’s director, Sam Brown, told Vibe.com. “I think when you’re dealing in abstract imagery people are going to want to draw lines between things and make sense of it. However, I’ve always felt that the viewing public was, in general, extremely visually literate. They don’t always want or need things to be spelled out for them. One of the great things about music videos are they can be enjoyed purely visually — it doesn’t need to mean anything or make any sense. Conspiracy theory is another thing entirely, and seems to me to be about projecting pre-existing beliefs and desperately looking for things that confirm them. There is imagery in this video that is drawn from all over the place. None of it is owned by any one culture or belief system. You can connect anything if you try hard enough, and make it mean anything you want it to.”
“It didn’t look like we was worshipping the devil,” Swizz continued, speaking on behalf of himself, Jay and Young Jeezy, who are all featured in the video. “It was easy. The song, the chemistry between me, Jay Jeezy is a natural flow. When you put that in front of the camera, it’s natural. Jay was on set, I think, for only two hours. I was on set for like, an hour. Same thing. Jeezy was there. It was real quick. The director took it and went on to the next one. … I never expected the video to come out like that … it’s like a portrait. It’s like a canvas he took, which was the green screen, and he took that canvas and really painted it Murakami, Basquiat style. There go the results.”
50 Cent stopped by Tyra Banks’ show. The rapper revealed that he likes to travel with $25,000 dollars cash to buy something when the urge hits him. Fiddy talked about how he reunited with his ex-Vivica Fox. 50 confesses that he won’t turn down groupie love because he is single and looking for women to be his baby mamas.
The ‘Candy Shop’ rapper 50 Cent – real name Curtis Jackson – says he can never be sure when he might want to go on a spending spree so always makes sure he is packing $25,000 in cash.
He said: “I always carry $25,000, in cash, just in case something happens… I don’t know whether I’ll have to buy something or not.
“I like to have cash on me because it feels like I have money.”
The hip-hop star also revealed he ended his six-year feud with ex-girlfriend Vivica Fox by inviting her to appear in his latest music video for ‘Do You Think About Me’.
He told US talk show host Tyra Banks: “I called her and I said, ‘You got to stop fighting and be in my video.’

The new disc features a collection of unlikely collaborations between super producer Timbaland and musical artist that range from Miley Cyrus to Katy Perry. Timbaland is back for another round of mayhem with his new album, Shock Value II.
Hitting stores December 8, the album branches out from strictly hip-hop and features pop stars such as Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus and his good friend Justin Timberlake, along with rockers like Nickelback’s Chad Kroeger, the Fray and Daughtry. However, Drake is featured on the album’s next single, “Say Something,” about a famous man who makes plenty of money, but neglects to spend enough quality time with his girl.
“What’s a star when his most important fan is missing?” Drake raps. “We can work it out,” he sings on the chorus. On the track, Timbaland describes his relationship with his woman as a “catastrophe,” however the beat is buoyant — “Say Something” is built for the party.
“Meet in tha Middle” is a bit more optimistic, with Tim singing, “We gotta meet in the middle” on the hook. You’ll recognize Brandy’s vocals holding down the background duties, but you definitely won’t believe your ears when she comes in on a guest verse. Credited under the moniker Bran Nu, the veteran singer introduces an MC alter-ego.
“I been giving you more than a little, had the ball then you double-dribbled,” she raps. “You don’t listen, I don’t never get my point across/ I washed your dirty draws, you out with dirty broads/ You did me dirty dawg, cause you’se a dirty dog/ It’s a curtain call and I ain’t mad at all.”
Eminem is not happy about Mariah Carey’s Obsessed music video where the diva dressed up like the rapper who gets slammed by a bus. The rapper is fighting back with a new diss track aimed at Mariah and her hubby Nick Cannon. Eminem is telling the world everything. The Warning diss track features the rapper telling Mimi that she knows how long it took for him to hook up with her.
Eminem – The Warning (New Mariah Carey Diss 2009)
Eminem also threatens Mariah Carey with the promise that some photos he has of them doing the nasty may get leaked. Yikes!!! Why did Mariah ever to anything with Eminem because he puts everyone’s business out there? We wondered how long it would take for Em to respond to Mariah’s Obsessed diss vid. It was pretty brutal for a diva of Mariah’s caliber. Mariah should be about the music and not about the Eminem drama. Listen to the diss track if you haven’t already.
Em is so fierce with his Mimi attack that he spits 32 bars of trash talk. Nick Cannon tried to pretend there wasn’t an Eminem beef before but he’s got to be feeling something now. Did Eminem go too far?
Eminem wrote a song, “Bagpipes From Baghdad,” directed at Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon. Then she seemed to respond to his track with her own, “Obsessed,” although she has denied the song and the video were directed at him.
First Eminem wrote a song, “Bagpipes From Baghdad,” directed at Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon. Then she seemed to respond to his track with her own, “Obsessed,” although she has denied the song and the video were directed at him.
As far as Nick Cannon is concerned, Eminem is crying out for his own broken soul.
At least that’s one of the proverb-invoking sentiments Mariah Carey’s hubby twittered today in response to Slim Shady’s latest dig at him and the missus.
“Quote of the day: ‘Never argue with fools because from a distance people cant tell who is who,’ ” went the first tweet from Cannon, posted early Friday afternoon.
Good point, especially considering Eminem’s latest diss track, “The Warning,” was a response to Carey donning a hoodie and goatee to slam him in her video for the single “Obsessed.” But gentleman that he is, Cannon wasn’t going to sit idly by while Eminem rapped about doin’ the nasty with his wife—albeit back in the day, but still pretty graphic stuff—and then threatened to unleash nudie pics on the world (presumably starting with the poor, unsuspecting blogosphere).
Cannon’s not going to kick Eminem’s ass or anything, though. That’s what the wrath of God is for.
“Never take your own revenge, but rather give place unto the wrath. For it is written vengeance is mine, I will repay… PREACH!” read a tweet posted about an hour after the first, which was followed by “‘I will bless those that bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse.’ Genesis 12:3.”
Cannon followed up with a personal pep talk, writing, among other empowering morsels, “Be patient in the moment of anger and escape a hundred days of sorrow!”
At one point he fancied himself “changing the world one hater at a time!”
“People who project negativity ultimately are crying out for their own broken souls,” Cannon started to wind down, before concluding (thankfully) with, “Trying to save a hater is like trying to teach astrophysics to a wino! LOL Chuuuuch!”
A new bonus track off Twista’s album Category F5 has leaked online. The song reunites Twista with Kanye who made the Chicago rapper a “celebrity overnight.” The single is produced by Kanye West and No. I.D.
Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip. Download the latest version here. You also need to have JavaScript enabled in your browser.
This track didn’t make the retail version of the album so if you’re only a buyer of hard copy CDs, like yours truly, you’ll need 2 DL this above for your Category F5 collection.
The beat defines the track first and foremost. ‘Ye and No I.D. collaborated on a sampled, slowed-down production further characterized with a soft piano. Above all though, the beat has a hip hop feel 2 it, even before ‘Ye spits the first verse. His colorful verse sets the tone for Twista 2 go in, which he does with some clever name drops along the way (Artful Dodger, Air Yeezys, and my boy Gilbert Arenas). “Alright” is automatically in the top tier of tracks from Category F5 and over time I’m sure I won’t hesitate 2 say it’s my favorite off the album.
It looks like Keyshia Cole’s mother Frankie may be knocked up again?! Frankie just announced her engagement to her much younger boyfriend and showed off her brand new lower back”tramp stamp” tattoo. SMH. Poor Keyshia Cole… Can you believe that her new step father may be old enough to be her younger brother? Frankie had so much to say when she spoke about Keyshia Cole’s sister Neffie having a baby that she didn’t have the time or energy to raise. Mama Frankie needs to put down the pipe… Frankie is a hot mess…
Frankie went on to The Ryan Cameron show to tell the world that she was in engaged and was deeply in love with her new boyfriend Mon, who is 22 years old. Frankie loves that young meat, telling the world that she was so so happy and in love. Taking after her daughter Keyshia, who got her boo tattooed on her shoulder ”D. Gibson,” (Daniel Gibson is his real name), Frankie decided to show how much she loved her man by getting his name tattooed right above her a$$. ”That’s where he wanted it,” she told me I then said ”so he can hit it every night.”
“Man Down” she said and meant it. Just to let everyone know that Frankie is clean and drug free, she just loves to have a good time. “You never know when its your time”. If you wanted to know if she plans on having anymore children, all I can say is watch this season of the Frankie & Neffie show it will tell it all.
