Singer Keri Hilson is hard at work on her Sophmore album.  Here is the scoop according to Billboard:

The singer/songwriter capped 2009 with two Grammy nominations: best new artist and best rap/sung collaboration for “Knock You Down,” featuring Kanye West and Ne-Yo. Now Hilson is getting busy in the studio recording the still-untitled follow-up to her gold-certified solo debut, “In a Perfect World.” Aiming for the Memorial Day holiday as a target release date, Interscope urban music head DJ Mormile promises that the three guiding lights behind Hilson’s first album-Timbaland, Polow Da Don and Danjahandz-are back onboard. “They’re the cornerstones,” says Mormile, who also notes that West, Will.i.am and emerging songwriter/producer Jeff Bhasker will also be involved. And signs are pointing to fellow newcomer Drake being a featured guest as well. “We’re just getting into this,” says Mormile, who hopes to have a first single out in March, if not sooner. “But we already have an idea of what we want to do. This album will continue the evolution of Keri, building off the hits ‘Knock You Down’ and ‘Turning Me On,’ which helped define her. This new album will be ‘Turning You On’ times 10.”

Singer Amy Winehouse emerged after being kept under virtual house arrest for a couple of weeks. The Rehab singer was acting extremely “crackish” and came out swinging. Amy threw a bottle at a paparazzo photographer, attacked a woman and fought with a DJ while attending a club benefit. What a night! Amy has a nasty crack habit of beating the crap out of people. Amy Crackhouse was released from the hospital after her reps said she was "admitted for an adverse reaction to medication she was receiving for drug treatment." Is this another code word for "drug overdose"?  Twenty-four-year-old Amy Winehouse was suffering from convulsions and hasn’t been doing well this past week. She was photographed "self-medicating" while smoking weed with dirty grimy hands, punching a metal fence and attacking her bodyguard. Amy Winehouse collapsed yesterday and was rushed to the hospital where doctors reportedly found a benign lump in Amy’s breast.

Last week Amy’s parents posed with a wax statue of Amy Winehouse at Madame Tussaud’s and her father Mitch commented "Yeah, it’s great. We just said we’re going to take this one home with us and send the real one back." source

The Back To Black hitmaker was rushed to hospital on Monday (28Jul08) after suffering a reaction to medication at her London home.

Winehouse was hidden by a red blanket and transported to a waiting ambulance by wheelchair as police arrived at the scene. The troubled singer’s father Mitch tried to block the view of waiting paparazzi with a sheet – and was heard shouting, "She’s f**ked up, she’s f**ked up", reports British newspaper The Sun.
The 24-year-old’s spokesman Chris Goodman claimed the star was taken ill after suffering "a reaction to medication" after being diagnosed with traces of deadly lung disease emphysema in June (08).
He says, "She was taking a new (medication) as part of her anti-drug treatment program. And it was an adverse reaction to that new drug. You have to try different things but unfortunately this was not the right one."
She was discharged from London’s University College Hospital on Tuesday (29Jul08) morning.
Winehouse sparked fresh fears for her health this weekend (26-27Jul08) when she was snapped crying and lashing out at her bodyguard in the early hours of Sunday (27Jul08) morning before throwing herself on the floor. She was then pictured punching a metal fence in frustration after her minder attempted to pick her up from the ground. source

Amy Winehouse was released from a London hospital early this morning, a day after being admitted for an adverse reaction to medication.

Her rep, Chris Goodman, said the Grammy winner was in good spirits after having what appeared to be a seizure yesterday at her north London residence.

The 24-year-old chanteuse was moved via wheelchair to a waiting ambulance for transport to the emergency room at University College Hospital. After being checked out and given the all-clear by doctors, she was discharged.

"She had a bit of a scare yesterday because of a reaction to treatment. She was kept in overnight purely for observation," her spokesman said in a statement. "Amy is at home now after leaving with her father and manager. She is having a rest."

Goodman said Winehouse’s reaction was caused by medication prescribed to help her kick her drug habit. source

Amy Winehouse says she desperately wants twins with her jailed husband Blake Fielder-Civil.

The ‘Rehab’ hitmaker — who has a well publicized addiction to drugs
– wants to start a family as soon as Blake finishes his 27-month
sentence for attacking pub landlord James King 2 years ago.

She says, "Blake and I can’t wait to have kids.

"We’d like to have twins, to have identical twins. Blake had a dream that we had a girl who was dark like me.

"And then I had a dream that I had one older, like 18 months old, dark like me and identical twin babies.

"I want twins so I’ll keep going until we have them."

And Amy, 24, insists she’ll remain faithful to Blake, 26, until he’s freed.

"We are absolutely obsessed with each other," she tells OK! magazine. "We both pinch ourselves daily. source
